Former cadet LTC Louis Cordero never let go of his JROTC roots. While many of us tend to let our high school relationships and connections fade over time, he held on tight by staying connected, even after graduation with the unit. Along his journey, he bumped into another former cadet, COL Paul Ramkissoon, who happened to be a good friend from his high school days. Together, they started to discuss ways to bring the alumni group back together for a nostalgic reunion. Little did they know, their casual chat would set the stage for the birth of an association that would be focused on that and more.

As it turns out Paul is a successful businessman and he decided to use his corporate connections to get involved and help the JROTC unit. Between Louis and Paul, this turned into trying to annually get some alumni together for a table at the military ball and also sponsor an additional table for cadets that could not afford to buy tickets.  They have been successful in achieving this goal year after year.

While a seat at the alumni table is FREE, former cadets attending the event are encouraged to make donations if they so wish directly to JROTC. Our primary goal is to have a table full of alumni, regardless of whether a donation is made or not. Join us for a truly memorable evening, as we come together to celebrate the strong bond between our alumni and our current crop of cadets.

Currently, our table consists of: Louis, his better half, PJ (AJAA 1st VP), her better half, and Paul with his adorable daughter (herself a Nease High School cadet). But there are still four seats left at our table for any other alums who may want to join the party! We would absolutely love to hear from you. So don't hesitate to RSVP and secure your seat by emailing us at info@atlanticjrotc.org. Remember it's absolutely free!

NOTE: If you feel inclined to make a donation, do so directly to Atlantic Community High School. Make checks payable to ACHS JROTC and hand them over to the Senior Army Instructor, LTC Rodriguez. Let's make this a night to remember!
