Every high school student looks forward to celebrating their graduation with friends and family through the traditional rite of passage known as prom. For the JROTC cadets, the Military Ball is an eagerly anticipated event that in some units is an even larger event than the prom. From the Receiving Line and Posting of Colors, to speeches full of emotion, this is a night that allows JROTC members and guests to enjoy a formal evening together based on Military Tradition.
The Atlantic JROTC Alumni Association is in its inaugural year. Their mission is to bring former alumni back together, enabling them to have a blast and rekindle their love of the program ACHS Army JROTC. This exciting first step proves that AJAA will be an incredible way for everyone involved to bond again over shared experiences. On the 11th of March, a spectacular night unfolded at AJAA's Military Ball. Louis Codero proudly served as Vice President joined fellow alumni for an evening full of fun. Meanwhile, Paul Ramkisoon supported their success by sponsoring the Alumni Table with his firm Consult PR - what a way to reconnect with one another and show off alums' spirit.
In his capacity as VP of AJAA, Louis Cordero had an opportunity to make a short presentation at the Ball. He spoke about the AJAA being launched in 2023 and future initiatives to reconnect alumni who graduated from ACHS Army JROTC in the past thirty years. He also shared the mission of the organization and that a brand new website has been released, making it exciting and enjoyable for alumni to reconnect and join in on all the activities.
AJAA is your ticket to recapturing the past and creating new moments! If you’re an alumnus of the ACHS Army JROTC, take this opportunity to join in on all the fun and fellowship of reconnecting with old friends. It’s easy and free to join AJAA, simply visit our website.
